Remember, it is the most influential person(s) not the nicest.
But this year it is the nicest.
Even though it did not happen this year, my vote would have gone to those who risked their lives in the Fukushima nuclear disaster - people do not understand that if meltdown happened Tokyo is gone and the world is changed. Same thing for the Chernobyl disaster. People knowingly got radiation sickness because it was the right thing to do.
But Time is making up for their oversight. Without these folks risking their lives under similar appalling conditions the world is changed for the worse.
The Ebola fighters are Times person of the year
They make me proud to be a human, and they are the best that humanity has to offer, and they ask for nothing in return.
I salute them.
