TickerMaster VanHalen tickets

I have not been to a concert in some time but thought I would enjoy seeimg VanHalen with Diamond Dave So yesterday I am on ticket master site at 10am on the nose when tickets go on sale and the best seat available was at the other side of the arena WTF
What happened to all the other tickets?

You know those guys who stand outside the ACC and at Union Station asking if anyone needs tckets the nite of the show .They got em !

This was just a presale for American Express cardholders, so not all tickets were available.

There is another presale on Friday at 10:00 am for Facebook and MLSE members, then the main sale starts at noon on January 14th to the general public.

Toronto is known as a large market for ticket sales, so any brokers in American cities as well as throughout Canada will have their people online for the presales and regular sales. Also, many regular people might buy an extra pair to try and offset the cost of their tickets by selling the second pair.

There is too much competition nowadays when trying to buy during first day sales, so what I often do is check Craigslist or other online classified ads a day before or the day of the concert. You can often find tickets close to or below face value that way.
