Two of the three will definitely end tonight.
So you do not have to go look them up, here they are ...

Buffalo @ Philadelphia ... I think Philly will take it fairly easy.

Chicago @ Vancouver ... Hawks will make this look like child's play if they score first and early. Only chance Canucks have scoring first and holding off the Hawks as long as the can.
I wonder how many fans are suffering from anxiety in Vancouver ?

The one which could be extended;
Boston @ Montreal ... bye Montreal.

The last game was televised on both TSN and NBC. I don't have TSN high definition (don't ask) so I watched the game on NBC.

Gary Bettman will be pulling hard for Chicago. Watch for the refs to give Chicago a 5 on 3 power play and a penalty shot plus refuse to call 3 Chicago penalties.

Boston @ Montreal ... bye Montreal.
Gary Bettman will be pulling hard for Boston. He doesn't want any Canadian teams to blemish his U.S. Cup winners record.

Two periods over, 2-1 Montreal both goals on two man advantages.
The 5 on Lucic was a joke. Penalty ? Certainly. Five minute ? No.
No one can argue the 'puck over the boards' call.

Come on Bruins. Get it going in the third and get rid of Montreal and their whiny fans.

The first 5 on 3 cannot be argued as well since there was a slash that broke the other players stick followed by a trip. Since when a hit from behind that causes an injury does not deserve a major? The player was even tossed out of the game. Why did you not mentioned the disallowed goal? Seems more like you are the one whining that Mtl is in the postseason and your Leafs are not...

Glad the Canadiens are moving on to tomorrow. Now if the Habs can only get that momentum of the 1st 2 games!

So your asking the Refs not to make a major call on a boarding / hit from behind calls wher there is an injury. If you don't like the rule fine. But don't complain that it was applied wrong, when it was applied 100% correctly, and has been applied like that for several years.

It was either no penalty or a five since it caused an injury. There is no middle area for a minor.

It's Official! Buffalo Sabres are off to the Golf Course!

Any team that beats Buffalo is my favourite team!

I did not mention the disallowed goal ... really ? What are you 5 ? The referee blew his whistle too early. He lost sight of the puck. I know the Bruins caught a break. It is pretty straight forward. It has happened before and it will happen again.

Was he actually injured ? Player was back before the end of the major penalty.
Bullshit call. As I said he should get a penalty, but a major and a game, no. Lucic has not been doing anything anyway.

also, when bruins had their first pp late in the first, how the christ is that a penalty on bergeron for skating and BRUSHING price.

First of all, he was back the next period and not before the major was over and that's because it's the playoffs. Secondly, are you saying that for a major to occur, the player that got hit must be injured to the point that he's out of the game? Hit from behing equals major for the longest time and it was clear that he hit him on the numbers.

Really? You did not understand what I was implying? Who's the 5 year old who does not understand? You were whining about everything that went MTLs' way and complaining about legit penalties and implying the 5 on 3 were not fair. If you are going to rant about things going for MTL, then what about things that went against MTL? Then again, in your mind, anything that goes against MTL is good and part of the game but anything for MTL is bullshit right?

If MTL makes it to the next round, let me make your prediction for you:

Washinghton wins by sweep... (right?)

That "brush" put price slightly off balanced and that could have resulted in a goal during a Bruins PP. If you are going to complain about the "brush" that interfered with the goalie, why don't you complain about the no call when Price was wacked under the chin by a Bruin. They replayed it twice during play stoppage.

I did not notice when he came back, I was relying on the broadcast crew and they said, as did the sports shows today, that the player was back on the bench before the major was over. Go argue with them.
A 5 vs 2 ... now you are implying. Is it your stance that only if a player is hurt that a major is called and that if the Montreal player got up and skated off it would only be a 2 minute penalty ?
I have seen many hits from behind not even called, never mind a 5.
I whined about one, count it, one penalty. Further I did not say it was not a penalty, just that it was not a major in my opinion. Obviously you and several others disagree.

Yes I will take Washington in the next round, but I doubt they will be playing Montreal.
I believe Pittsburgh will hook up with Washington and Boston will meet Philadelphia.
