Threads Locked and Pulled

I just want to address the number of threads that have been locked and pulled recently. A lot has been said here and there is some substance to some of them, but there is also some misinformation in others.

Firstly I want to address locked threads. Let's remember gents that if a thread gets out of hand that the mods will lock it. Secondly, if it's started by someone who shouldn't, chances are it will get locked, as they have no right to be bitching. The mods leave it in place for us to read and make our own judgement call on what is said.

Secondly; Threads that get pulled. It is well within the mods right to do so, if said thread gets way out of hand and discusses things that are no nos. That being said, if it could affect a ladies ability to work, false allegations, then that thread should be pulled.

I myself got caught up in both recently. the second one, a thread pulled, I should not have. I have been informed by a party that in that case, it is quite possible that someone else was working the phone, making promises of certain services that are not available. On top of that, they also have an issue with a stalker type person. Both are bad, but the later could prove to be harmful in a bad way. In this case the mods are right in pulling said thread. No one should read such thread because of that.

Durham has issues with finding good ladies, let's not turn it into a soap opera section. There are good ladies, they may have many reviews, but gents, review them again and again, keeping the intel fresh.

I know I started a thread quite some time ago about Durham being a wasteland. It was more of a lament for the old days, the hey days Durham had. There will be more and it would appear that there is a glimmer of hope with a few ladies that have good reviews here. Don't stop good intel on bad providers, but also, don't stop the good intel on well reviewed providers either.

Review the hell out of them, that's what keeps them here and that's what attracts new ladies as a vibrant scene is paramount.

I see Tina review got pulled. Guess it was a good thing. seems like you need to be on here like 2 or 3 times aday or all day not to miss stuff.LOL

How do some of you do it? I see lots of the similar handles posting.

I guess some have jobs that let them be on the internet all day or some have too much free time on there hands.. LOL none of my business. Just pointing out the obvious. If this site brings you pleasure.. enjoy. I know its interesting, and been helpful for me.

Amen, Dirk. I'm guilty of not posting a review of a girl who's been well reviewed in the past because I assumed the brothers would view it as fluff. We all know Heidi's good, right? But If we review every lady we see, every time, the good ones might just get a better client base and might just stick around. I'm in.

No I posted a review 3 days ago about a negative experience I had with Tina and of course she hijacked the thread, got all wacky and basically said I was a drug dealer and stalker. My review was essentially a shot back for the "Why do people post reviews on girls they haven't met WTF?" thread that Tina started.

That thread still exists, but my review got pulled. The conspiracy theorist in me thinks Tina has some pull with a mod or two...or maybe pulls a mod or two? LOL.

Too bad you missed that thread but it's just as well.

Condensed version: If you've never booked with Tina, expect to get jerked around (and not in the way you'd like). BigBlueBud (me) is a lying drug-dealing stalker...and 13 months = 2 years. :biggrin1:

Sometimes reviews/discussions get locked or removed if it looks like a shitstorm is on the horizon.
Last thing we need on this board is to turn it into the drama board..
best to nip it in its infancy..rather than 3 or 4 pages later when the white nights vs black nights get to slinging shit at eachother

I agree. There is a lot of drama and negativity on here. I did a review on Brooke and Tina and ill never do a review again. I only give info when I get a PM. A lot less hassel. Now I know why I'm told by girls. Don't review.
At the risk of ironically starting drama - I have to disagree with you here, Sam. I'm quite happy reviewing on the red board and communing with all you folks on here. This board is quite tame compared to others and usually drama only starts when our well honed senses smell bullshit. Sometimes those senses are dead wrong - it happens, but I generally feel like we've got each other's backs here. I review so that I can set the brothers up for success and to help them avoid failure. It's a nice feeling.

I'm sorry if I sound mean but, Sam, if you can't contribute with reviews please refrain from posting period. Just lurk in shadows. A simple, "I saw her, her pics are real and I would repeat," helps.

Posting reviews is definitely more helpful to the community than not... but it's not fair to tell someone they can't post at all unless they review and have to lurk. Lurking doesn't help anyone, and far too many say they are "terb members" and just lurk with zero to few posts, and then try to use their handle to receive member pricing and they are unable to be confirmed as a real member.
I have received PM questions from members with 10+ years membership and not one post

Thump has nailed it. Too much drama is no good and detracts from the original purpose.

Sam, don't be this way. Contributions are important, good and bad. Unfortunately the girls you picked, one in particular, have a bit of a reputation in these woods and it is not a good one with many on the board.

Reviews good and bad help the brethren out and especially new reviews on well reviewed ladies, as it keeps them at the top, if they are still performing well and keeps them around.

That's right Charlotte, lurkers don't help either the brothers or the ladies and trying to use same handle to garner favour is BS.

I have received same and shake my head in wonder.

Whenever I received any such e-mails, I would ignore them and put the user on my ignore list. If you want information, share what you have, don't leech!
Bravo shake, I usually send an pm back stating they have zero cred here and not to bother me with questions of that sort again.

One has to pay to play. Or review and confirm others experiences to have cred. I am an infrequent visitor since I don't hobby much but I do know when I was more active that no one wins when you don't ever review or have something to confirm or question with reviews. The whole point of this this board is we guys discuss who is worthy of our hard earned money and why. If you don't share, dont expect others to BUT the Mods have to also let the discussion go where it goes to am extent. Locked threads are OK, at least I can see what happened and why it got locked but deleted posts and threads should also not be done unless it is really crossing the line. I think moderators have to keep personal views out of things to an extent. I remember a local attacked for his negative review of a local MP that was started here in downtown Oshawa and the moderator was friends with some of the girls there and the owners. Good luck saying anything negative about that joint. Back then the moderators were active doing reviews and jumping in so they were too involved I think in letting their biases steer discussions. I won't speak ill of that moderator now; and understand I liked the guy and his moderating up until then. But this board has to remain real, and the people who frequent it for information have to share....
