Thousands of people gathered in Paris to protest against President Emmanuel Macron's decision to provide €2 billion in military aid to Ukraine. The demonstrators expressed their disapproval of NATO's involvement and demanded that France leave the alliance. The protest was organised by The Patriots party, with slogans like "Macron, we don't want your war!" and "Let's quickly leave NATO!"

This protest came after Macron proposed deploying Western troops as a peacekeeping force in Ukraine. Russia has strongly opposed this proposal. The rally highlighted the growing discontent among some French citizens regarding their country's foreign policy decisions.

The chants during the protest were clear and repetitive, emphasising the public's strong feelings against the war and military aid. Many participants voiced their concerns about France's role in international conflicts.

The protest reflects a significant portion of the population's desire for a change in France's approach to international alliances and military involvement. The event underscores the ongoing debate over national priorities and international commitments.

Paris has a political riot of some type 2 or 3 times a year. It's what French fuckers do. Not news.

I recognize that news of demonstration of support of Macron giving away
€2 billion of taxpayers' money to Ukraine would be more worthy of reporting.
