My car was stolen from my driveway last night between 12am - 3am while I was up playing texas holdem

I am so pissed off and fustrated that I just need to release some of it, sorry guys

The police told me that they recieve 30 calls a night for car theft...and only 4% of the cars are found.... '

So it is a very good chance that I will never see my baby again. I just bought the farking thing in March.

I believe that we should pass the law of losing body parts if you are caught stealing, this is just so wrong.

Punk ass kids did this I know it.

Thank you for listening

I drive the possum van. So, someone stealing my vehicle is unlikely. And I agree, thiefs should be shot. Or have their hands cut off, like in the old days. But, I must add one thing. What's worse than thiefs? Vandals. I remember coming home once to find my van's tires slashed, windows broken, and swastikas painted on the doors. That really pissed me off. A thief at least has logic, though selfish, for stealing. They are taking something for their selves. A vandal has no logical reason for what they do. None. What benefit did they get from this? Cheap entertainment? Fucking assholes. They should have their spine removed so that it may be used as a noose to hang their corpses.

That sucks indead! How would you like to loose 5 vehicles and more than $80k in goods?

These people are repeaters so start with a couple of fingers and maybe they'd eventually get the message when they have to be spoon fed. The court system sucks, starting with a bunch of bleading heart patronage appointed JP's. Get some real tough judges in there. Ones that will kick ass. In the old days when they had small town cops kids like that were taken out of town the first time they were in trouble and made to walk home for starters. If that didn't work then look out!

Just my opinion.

sorry about your loss
hopefully you have full coverage
deductible doesn't apply for theft of entire vehicle so that will help some.

I've had my vehicle stolen twice, so I can understand your frustration. There is nothing worse than sitting at home, with no wheels, thinking that some son of a bitch is out there in your vehicle.

I was lucky though - they found mine both times, and each time I got it back the only damage was the punched ignition*. Turns out Belleville is well known as the changeover town for vehicle thiefs moving between Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal. Whenever somebody's vehicle is stolen here, not far away is the dumped vehicle that was originally taken from the big city.

( * - although the last time the dipshits ordered a party pack of Tim Hortons doughnuts and proceeded to have a massive doughnut fight inside my mini-van. I swear, judging by the amount of doughnut goo in the van - not one doughnut was eaten).

Noticed many of you are talking about vans or mini vans. What brand were they..I've heard the Chrysler products arereally easy to steal because of the plastic covering over the door lock.

Have a bunch of friends who've had their Chrycovans stolen...every time it was the "easy door lock" according to the police.

One of the friends vans was found on a green a Glen Abbey a few years back....took the wheels...apparently they're high on the "hot wanted list".

Yeah, mine was a Dodge Caravan. It isn't necessarily the door alone, it's the ignition itself that is abnormally easy. Apparently it is only held in with a small plastic tab, compared to metal for Ford and GM. The entire ignition mechanism easily pops out with a straight edge screwdriver, and the gizmo inside has a slot in which the same screwdriver fits. Pop, turn, and drive, and you're out of there is less than 2 seconds once you get in the drivers seat.

At least that's how the cop explained it.

Malica > glad you got it back. I know that feeling of relief. At least they caught the son of a bitch.
