I remember this game clearly, all clean hits, elbows down except for the hit by Van Impe, definite cross check. Welcome to the NHL!!

However the most entertaining game IMO, was Habs vs Red Army, New Years Eve, 1975, the Canadiens skated circles around the russians all night long, but game ended in a 3 all tie, Dryden was pretty bad on this night.

Thank god. The Habs of the late 70's saved hockey by showing putting the focus on skill can lead to winning hockey instead of using intimidation and bullying.
