I just got back from my local pub and I just had to tell everyone what a great time I had listening to the band. They were a Led Zepplin tribute band and I swear that if you closed your eyes you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between them and the real thing. Listening to them took me back to the last time I last saw Zepplin live.

The band is called "Screamers" and if you like Zepplin and you get a chance to hear these guys do it. It took two encores before the mostly over 30 crowd would let them go.

They played "Misty Mountain Hop", "Whole Lotta Love", the obligatory "Stairway to Heaven", "Dazed and Confused", "Over the Hills and Far Away", "Rock and Roll" and my personal favourite "Kashmir" as well as a ton of others.

Anybody else know of any other good tribute bands?

hey A.j
I myself love checking out live bands.
When I was younger I worked alot of clubs and after hours clubs here in T.O.I've seen many great bands in my time.
Depending on what type of music your into there are many great bands in Toronto.
There is one band I never miss due to the fact the singer is a close freind of mine, they are called Elvis Manson and they have been around far longer than Marilyn Manson.3 of the members are P.D.R mmc members which are now H.A's.If your into hard alternative music this is the band to see in T.O,when you leave after the show your whole body is vibrating, not only that the ladies that tend to show up at their shows are very HOTT!!I love woman in tight leather,,,lol

I'd like to hear them. If the drummer has the John Bonham
feel down, it must be awesome. He laid down some monstrous
grooves.
What pub where you referring to, and are they still playing there?
eggman,

The drummer was good and pretty close to that John Bonham feel but not quite there. The guitarist on the other hand sounded exactly like Jimmy Page especially in "The Battle of Evermore" playing the mandolin and the lead singer sounds just like Robert Plant.

The pub is call Red Rock. Their Friday band usually plays on Saturday as well but that usually changes as we get more into the summer. If you're interested I suggest that you give them a call. Their website is www.redrockto.com.
