BBC in North America

This looks pretty interesting. I wonder if these sorts of BBC programmes ever make it to North America.

Unfortunately we miss the vast majority of quality British television. I think PBS still shlepps Monty Python, (I mean by now if you like it, as I do, you already own the series), you can get Absolutely Fabulous, Dr. Who, etc. but there are piles of gems that we don't see.

I am constantly on a search for something from the BBC. Lately it is the 1971 Casanova series so this is good news if they are going to renew their old stuff!

I have a book called WWII in Colour. It's really startling to see the collection of pics. We always think of WWII in grainy black & white so to see the images in colour is both gripping and disturbing. It really hits home how awful WWII must have been.

I'm sure this BBC program will be quite interesting. Hopefully it makes it over here on DVD or even as a torrent.

There's a TON of british programming on cable. We have BBBC, Showcase has a lot of shows, they are all over the place if you look for them.

I still laugh my ass off whenever "Little Britain" is on, some of the characters are just fricken insane.....
