I completely lost any respect for A&E as a network when they made such a big deal about presenting the Sopranos, and then editing out all the cursing.

Hollywood glamorizes organized crime too much. Gomorra, a film about organized crime in Napoli, will be released in Toronto this weekend. It can best be described as the Anti-Sopranos, it depicts gangsters for what they are. The Oscars passed it over for consideration; it's too raw and not artsy-fartsy enough for them. The author, Roberto Saviano is under 24 hour police protection for revealing the secrets of the Camorra.

A reminder...The Sopranos is NOT a documentary on the Mafia...like ER is NOT a documentary on Emergency Wards in hospitals...it is FICTION for entertainment and any one watching it should keep this in mind

But that isn't to say that Hollywood should tell you how to/or not to think. And, yes I am a Sopranos fan and have seen every episode.
