THE LIVING LEGEND-RETIRED
who will be top seeds in this year NCAA Men's Basketball Tourney!!!!

here are my picks:

Duke
Connecticut
Memphis
Villanova

but if the Buckeyes win in the Big Ten Tourney -I see them as a number seed instead of Villanova.

but watch out for UNC - looked very good beating the Blue Devils!!!!!

But I got to stick with my alma mater - GO BLUE!!!!!!

Memphis won't get a #1 seed. Here's who's left in Conference USA this year, after Louisville, Cincinnati, Charlotte, DePaul, Marquette, South Florida and St. Louis left after last year: East Carolina, Houston, Marshall, Rice, SMU, Southern Mississippi, Tulane, Tulsa, UAB, UCF, UTEP.

George Washington has only lost once, but that was by 21 points to their only top 25 opponent, at NC State.

My #1 seed predictions: Duke, UConn, and two of Villanova, Texas, Ohio State, Tennessee, depending on the results of the conference championships.

I like Arkansas a a sleeper pick in the first two rounds.

Your place!!
OSU, coming off their own imposed sanctions, the Buckeyes are going to want to prove a few things so don't drop them off the radar.

I concur with the exception of replacing Texas with Memphis...

The Gators struggling a bit after starting the season 17-0, Florida seems to have regained some of the momentum with an impressive 79-64 victory at Kentucky to end its regular season on a high note.

my sleeper - the Florida Gators!!!
Florida seems to suck in the tournament every other year. Last year, they beat Ohio and lost to Villanova. Note that two of Florida's losses are to Tennessee. Tennessee's coach, Bruce Pearl, lead #12 seed Wisconsin-Milwaukee to wins over #5 seed Alabama and #4 Boston College.

i agree - Florida does do shit in the tourney - but I'm thinking this year they make a run!!!!!

About time you gave the Buckeyes the respect they are due. They're having a
dream year. I don't think anyone picked them to take the Big10 title outright.
The women's BB team is also highly ranked. Both pleasant surprises

Still sticking with a second tier team, eh.
Oh well. But, you do have the Pistons.
Blue is clueless. :D
MICHIGAN STILL SUCKS!!!!!!
Hey Don, when I think of the Big Ten Conference - the only team that comes to mind is MICHIGAN!!!!!!!!!! GO BLUE!!!

but even though I love my alma mater - I'd like to see the Big Ten teams do well in the Dance - and since the Buckeyes have a great team this year I'd like to see them do well!!!

GO BLUE!!!!!!!!!

i don't think you're allowed to root for the buckeyes and the wolverines. it's illegal, immoral, unimagineable! i'd keep this quiet or Michigan might revoke your diploma. ;)

Not rooting for the Buckeyes - my loyalty stays with Michigan - I just said - I'd like to see the Big Ten Teams do well - I'd rather have a Big Ten team win the Dance than an ACC, SEC or a Big East team!!!!

It was a self-imposed ban.
They cleared an NCAA audit
without any further problems.
Their season was unexpected.
Maybe a hallo effect from beating
Michigan at Michigan in football.
The gods are generous to the
truly good guys.
LOL - the good guys???

hey Don

keep this day in your calender - Nov. 18 - the Wolverines make a trip to Columbus to play the Buckeyes in Football

Prediction

Michigan 34
Ohio State 14

Why did Desmond Howard and Elvis Grbak ever
go there is beyond me. [2 HS alum of mine]
all over UofM!!!!

as for Howard and Grbak they attended U of M - because its a great school filled with much tradition and championships!!!! and the girls are pretty hot as well!!!!!!
and they didn't want to spend time in Columbus - and who can blame them for that!!!!!

o.k. Don, enough about Michigan being the best school - this thread was about the road to the final four!!!!!!
