reality on a movie screen or tv show no longer exists. Antything can be done in post if planned for before.
What used to cost a million dollars..to render 30 seconds of animation in 16 hours about ten years ago..can be done in about 10 minutes now..and the animation is far more comlicated than ever before. I've been in editing suites watching wht the art directors do and ask for and voila it's done! Absolutley amazing what can be done.
We've all seen the blue..or now green screen shots where the background is added in..and serioulsy you have no idea of how much that is used in just about everything you see on TV or in the movies. Using the screen..they can fix anything.
It truly is amazing.
