Just to let you know.. stay away this place is a hot bed with reporters and police.. a guy was shot and killed there today by the police..

It had nothing to do with the pines
A few prisoners made a run for it while being transfered from who knows where decided to make a break for it in the area of the pines one shot and one run over

Didn't say the Pines was actually involved, but I was there about an hour ago and the Police and SAT news trucks were there..

Stayed there 3-4 times last November - never a problem. Definately not your Holiday Inn quality but was well received by the staff and room was adequete. Wasn't there for the decor.

....oh has Dakotah from Hourglass ever resurfaced?? <sigh>

Ummm actually unless the guy Just died No one was killed there .. just Shot 3 times .. and it was for a Federal Parole Violation ... not and Escape ..

He was checking out of the pines when it happend. they knew he was there.
