OK... so I was going to come on here and rant about all the fucking commercials about the olympics. I mean I am already sick of the Olympics and they haven't even started yet! (Tuesday's episode of LOST had 13 commercials!)

That is... until I saw today's SSG!



I don't mind Olympics advertising if they take this form!

I don't like the way CTV is handling this. I know they're a sponsor but they even promote their involvement Olympics during their news casts. Their ads are lame in my view....Do you believe. And there's just too many of them.

They also pissed me off during the Super Bowl....same old crappy ads. They even had a lead story on the 6 pm news that Super Bowl ads are a big part of why people watch. They didn't finish the story and tell us that Canadian broadcast revenue protection (specifically CTV) means that I never get to see these ads in Canada, regardless channel I watch it on.

Tell me about it... I fully understand the power of a positive mental attitude... but puuuullleasse!

As for the Superbowl ads... That has always bugged me too... Fortunately you can see all of them via the Web... http://superbowlads.fanhouse.com/

My daughter is addicted..............Infact I bought her the complete DVD collection for Christmas.......Myself I never got into that or heroes. Now 23 I watch when I know I can commit to the monday nights.

I usually don't watch ANYTHING during the regular TV broadcast (because I hate commercials...) Lost is the one exception. I still download the HD version though... Have every episode.
