Air taxis will become a thing in the future. It will start off for the wealthy who want to save time avoiding traffic. It will then trickle down to the mainstream.

One company leading this field is Joby. It is publicly traded. Could be the next Tesla.

The aviation world has been plagued by charletans hawking the "DREAM" of flying cars, vertical take off air taxis etc. Among many others, the more notorious include Paul Moeller and his many, many "Sky Cars" over many decades. Never, ever seen a functional one. He simply sold dreams and lived off the cash.

Imagine every home with a personal drone landing pad, like a helicopter pad but much, much smaller. The size of a pizza box or two.

Place a grocery order and drones deliver it within an hour.
Place an Amazon order and it arrives same day.
Want to return an item? Request a return order, place the item on your drone landing pad, and drones will come to pick it up.

Clear the streets of delivery drivers. More room for us.

many Chinese companies are into this. Problem is going to be safety regulations.
