Now, there are a lot of people who don't think this should be done again for some years as it could lose its luster pretty quick. Count me in, I agree with that theory.

However, if they were to do it again where should they hold the next game?

I'm curious about the outdoor game in LA. How were you thinking it would be done?

I've no idea, but they did a preseason outdoor game between the Rangers and Kings in Las Vegas back in the '90s...so I know it can be done.

Molson Stadium in Montreal would be a wonderful setting, but it's just too small to justify the costs. The Bell Centre's capacity is almost as high...

And not much better for McMahon Stadium or Lansdowne Park.

Sorry, Mr Polar Bear. It's gotta be Wrigley (NOT Soldier) Field, the world's biggest outdoor bear garden.

I don't know that Molson Stdm is big enough. I'm thinking Ralph Wilson, old Rich Stadium, in Buffalo...Leafs vs. Sens...who knows.

Agreed, Bard. It's goota be a large setting. Jerry Green in the Detroit News today suggested a Red Wings game for the Big House in Ann Arbor.

Isn't that where they got 75K to watch Michigan vs. Michigan St college hockey? That would be good...but if the NHL is one of the 'Big 4' Leagues, I think they even need something bigger.

Again, I like Buffalo as the stadium is larger, and Leaf fans would sell that place out...it would be like a home game against the Sabres.

Hiya Bard...

The college hockey game was at Michigan State (Spartan Stadium in East Lansing). The Big House (Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor) drew 112-thousand for the Ohio State-Michigan football game last Saturday..
