the life of most electronics seems to be a couple of years latelyWhat is the average life expectancy for a wireless mouse? Mine isn't so great lately. Is it a matter of new battery or should I buy a new one? TIA.
Oh ok, tks.the life of most electronics seems to be a couple of years lately
loss of appetite, no interest in playing, leaving mouse turds all overI have been using my mouse for around 4 years now and the only thing I did to it is to change the batteries. What kind of problems are you having?
Lol, sounds like the little mouse is bored and needs some excitement. Try getting him a good SP mouse once in awhile to get his motor going again.loss of appetite, no interest in playing, leaving mouse turds all over

Thank you but that still doesn't address the problem I have with my mouse. It's called a cursor.

It came with a little chip that i insert into the side of my lap top. I bought this one about 2 years ago and it wasn't the most expensive but it wasn't the cheapest either. I'm fairly computer illiterate. There's a cable for the keyboard but nothing for the mouse.Does the mouse connect with blue tooh or via a wireless setup - ie cable plugged into your desktop for both keyboard and mouse? ....if you use bluetooth, then you may need to go into the bluetooth program and re-connect the mouse...it may not be sensing it any longer. This may also prompt for a driver update for bluetooth.
I have found this a couple of times now with a Logitech mouse. Changing the batteries, cleaning the mouse and using the connect button on the mouse did not resolve the issue....the bluetooth program and update did
In the old days, you'd get lint in the mouse ball or the wheels which interface with the mouse ball which would cause it to act erratically. With modern mice, they get dirty sensors. Try cleaning the sensor with a q-tip and water, or alcohol. It came with a little chip that i insert into the side of my lap top.
