One player does not guarantee a win...he's not a Gretzky or Mario.

you know Price reminds me of early Marc Andre Fleury so much it isn't funny. i feel for hab fans as it can be hair-pulling, tooth-pulling frustrating knowing you gotta kid with loads of talent playing so inconsistently.

if he wins the series, it isn't because he carried the team, that's for sure.

Oh shit, give him a break...hell he's only TWENTY years OLD...shit, can you imagine the pressure he's under and being able to handle it when YOU were twenty?

BTW: one thing that pisses me off about the playoffs so far? How much they are letting go (in the sense of penalties). I mean almost every shift they should have called at least one as they would have in regular season.

Now I know this is how hockey is supposed to be played and it's a shame the refs can't let them play this way during the regular season but IMO, it is the officiating body admitting that they screwed up by making the refs call everything during the regular season.

Read my post. I compared his experience to that of MA Fleury. Fleury was even younger (18) when put into the fire.

And btw- how is he handling it? he's the reason they are losing... oh, and Kovalev is starting to play scared again.

Just like the B's 5th goal... who was that habs d'man who wouldn't go back in the corner to get the puck.

Anyways, B's may not win the series but they sure have done their fans proud. For a bunch of pluggers, without any real game-breakers in the lineup, not having arguably their best player all season, they have given these guys a run for their money. I think Julien sure lit a fire under Kessel's ass after he benched him 3 games. Good to see him come through.

Great night in Beantown - Sox were down 3-2 in the eight, then the message came up on the B's victory and they went nuts at Fenway. Then Manny hit one out on the Mass Turnpike. Should be a good one Monday.
