Anyone have any info on what this place is like? I haven't been there in about 5 years but am looking for a place to dance this weekend. Thanks!

DANCER (using friends name)

I have been to the Mirage recently, and I have to say this place hasn't changed a bit. I worked there for approx. 2 years and it is still VERY hard to make any money there. The Mirage finally clued in that low lighting gives a better effect and that everyone doesn't like being on spotlight, but that's about it. The lounge has changed, smaller rooms, more mirrors, still a cheap cover charge, but the "seargent" still patrols. You want a good place to work, in the area, try the Manor in Guelph, the Dollhouse in Kitchener, or Roxxanne's in Waterloo. Good luck sweetie!

Thanks for the info. I am not planning on going on stage if that makes a difference, so I want to go somewhere that I can get a lot of private dances. I worked at the Manor (6years ago) for almost three years but not really sure if I want to go there or not. I heard it changed a lot? I was thinking of heading in early, is that wise or not? I really need advice as I have been out of the biz for so long, it makes me a little nervous again LOL And excited of course LOL

Hey Dancer

You'll have to let me know when you're on schedule next week - I believe I owe you a visit. :)
