I disagree. Men in Black 2 had it right. We exist in a locker in some extra-terrestrial terminal somewhere.

on small scales, where particles can be in two places at once; and at high temperatures, where colliding particles change identity.
So if I stand on my mail scale and bodyslam the wall during a heatwave in July, I could become Brad Pitt?

You misread it - the colliding particles change identity. In other words, you become the wall and the wall becomes you. That would really hurt, though.
Maybe we can use that as an excuse with women when they complain it's "like talking to a wall". :p

Although Sparkyboy is 'often confused', bet he has not hurt himself attempting to become the wall. But geezzz, to become Brad Pitt??? May be he will really hurt himself voluntarily. LOL!!!

This is what prof. Tegmark said in his paper:
"Abstract: I explore physics implications of the External Reality Hypothesis (ERH) that there exists an external physical reality completely independent of us humans. I argue that with a sufficiently broad definition of mathematics, it implies the Mathematical Universe Hypothesis (MUH) that our physical world is an abstract mathematical structure."

This is what the good doc said in his lotto thread:
"The good doc is often impressed with his ancient cousins Pythagoras, Plato, and the like, who seemed to think that the secret of the universe is governed by some secret formula or equation."

It is no secret many ancient Greeks and probably many others thought that the universe is governed by some interesting mathematical structure. Starting with Pythagoras` belief that the basic building blocks of the universe is 0, 1,2,3 etc., to Plato`s theory of Forms in terms of measure and proportion of their elements, of course, can be expressed mathematically. The question is what takes the earthlings so long and they seem to confuse themselves with unnecessary complications.

The good doc thinks his dear friend Freddie Zed will offer the truth to the secret of the universe once he discovers the secret formula to hitting the big time lotto jackpots, since it is the same secret formula which governs the universe. *Wink, wink* LOL!!!
