The great thing about this palindrome is that it makes sense. Generally when palindromes are longer they stop making sense and become mere linguistic curiosities.
It's definitely not the longest palindrome. I recall in the 80's a guy named Edward Benbow constantly broke his own record for the longest palindromic composition. It was going well over 100,000 words and kept increasing as he continued to add more words to it. Guinness Book of World Records stopped entertaining his record-breaking count, supposedly because his compositions never made any sense, and adding more words to it eventually lost its appeal.
