Dan Davis is a shitty novelist, but does an interesting series of early bronze age videos. These are set in 3,000 - 4,000 BC and seem to evoke a culture that is very similar to Homeric Greece - i.e. cultural norms remain the same for 2,000 - 3,000 years.
