The one immigration problem no one wants to talk about is
the lie about why mass immigration is essential for the future
of our country. If you see Islamic immigration being an issue
and don't want to be called a racist then stop bringing in as
many as 1 million immigrants per year. Set a quota around
300,000 per year, apply strict criteria based on education level,
English (and French) fluency and professional skills to ensure
only the best qualified are accepted into our country. With
well-thought-out immigration policies you can be assured
religion of immigrants should not be an issue.
Given ongoing turmoil in the Middle East I can see why
bringing in extremists among refugees accepted as
immigrants on humanitarian ground could become a
legitimate concern. I don't pretend I have the solutions other

Over the years I`ve heard a number of Imam`s say that Islam does not belong or work in Western culture. When someone like them says that, maybe just believe them.
You may want to discuss that with the many Islamic immigrants who now hold high-paying jobs as high level execs, lawyers and doctors.
Most Islamic immigrants fit in just as well as Jews and Catholics.

These people are outliers and they give up part of their religion when they become successful. I had a friend in colllege who always wore a hijab no matter what. She became one of the top oncologists in the nation and for the first time, I don’t see her wearing a hijab anymore. Leave your strong beliefs at the door if you want success.
ps. The Hindus are much more successful and powerful in corporate, law, and medicine
Just last week it was revealed that in some school in Montreal and Laval that the teacher would talk in Arabic, gave pause for prayer and let male kid mock girl because as women they are inferior.
Our PM was pissed learning about this. Made comments that this was morally illegal and would make sure to end all off this. Even said they will be working on banning all public prayer from any groups.
We in Quebec are close to France. We know the damaged Muslin have done and are still doing for the French society. We do not want that and we should stick to strick law regarding assimilation of our immigrants. Thankfully we have law to preserve french language in Quebec

For myself Islam has never impacted me as long as they practice their Islamic religion and way of life in their own country.
If they immigrate to Canada you are allowed to practice at home. In public service work, public area, you assimilate to our way of life and our morale.
Where I live Mosque are being built. And the shit their leader say in there is really troubling. But to be honest my problem are from what I saw in France.
