This case seem to have faded from the news. It was sensational at the time. An escort from a prominent agency murdered. Was she killed by a client? Did anybody here on the board ever meet her?

From what I read in the papers, she worked the streets. (Not passing judgement on the poor girl, just what I understand to be factual)

I get a lump in my throat every time I drive or bike by her Memorial on Unwin Ave.

From the article it does sound like Robert Beauregard and Jonathan Ash were conspirators before and after the fact.

You are thinking of Kerra Freeland who worked at Cachet and was murdered by her roommate not a client.

Yes, I believe you are correct. I am confusing "Freeman" with "Freeland". My memory is failing me (old age?). Has the Kerra Freeland case been settled?

Well there is a trial going on, but if the alleged facts are proven, the trigger man does not matter. Both are guilty of first degree murder. The article seems to make a distinction about who pulled the trigger.
