The Feminisation of Academia & Its Consequences

Summary:

Men pursue what is empirically correct; women pursue what is morally desirable.
Men pursue truth; women pursue moral goals
Men are more tolerant of "controversial" scientific findings & academic freedom; women are more willing to obstruct & suppress science perceived to be offensive

Why? Biological evolution between the sexes, each having different tendencies & advantages.

Based on trends in sex ratios in academia, expect more obstruction and suppression of academic freedom as the years go on.

This has and will continue to have consequences in social and political life (e.g. censorship, DEI, trans, safe spaces, social "justice", cancel culture, wokeness, societal advancement/progress/regression).

The compensatory mechanisms forgirls in education in the 1970s worked very well, but now it's tipped so far the boys are falling far behind.

The 1970s were a crossover decade in so many ways. The peak and decline. Real wages for young men peaked in 1977 in Canada. That still stands today.
But the big declines really got going in the 1980s and first half of the 1990s.

The Canadian Human Rights Act, created in 1977, is designed to ensure equality of opportunity. It prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, age, sex and a variety of other categories.

People still base wages on those factors they just won't openly say it. And most companies bring in new hires for less due to profits. Women bosses based on my experience tend to be more understanding of others if they are going through stuff.

Yes, women do seem more understanding. But they are also more concentrated in the public sector and protected by unions. Men are more likely to be in crappy private sector jobs.
However, for those much higher up in the private sector it can work out well.

north American colleges and universities usually overload students with homework(British, European and Australian universities don't they have less homework load)

Boys do less homework than girls: global study finds
Around the globe, boys do less homework than girls — a difference of almost two hours a week in Canada. It may in part explain why they lag behind academically.

Debate at 12:30 Lots of commericals at the start. Shannon and Amanda.

Good luck with equal things lol many women still generally make less than men not to mention paying more for the same product with less amount. Women and men get along in a relationship if she is wrong and he agrees with her than trying to prove her wrong even with facts. Unless it's some controlling conservative type relationship where he throws his weight around and she's extremely sub and obeying.

Statistically, women do better in academics than men. Seems buck is now promoting affirmative action to equalize things.
Assessments of prowess in academics are both objective and subjective. Standardized tests allow direct comparison of one student's performance vs another. Many teachers give better marks to the students who 'parrot back' essential points from text books, or the teacher's personal opinions on the subject matter. The teacher may also give lower marks to students whose opinions differ from their own.

High marks in certain subjects will inevitably lead to higher salaries later in life. Someone who does well in pure and applied sciences may well earn six figure annual salaries for decades. Someone else who excels in poetry, history and music might end up as a Starbucks barista, even after earning a bachelor's degree. The guys who were only good in would gym often end up as soldiers, cops or gym teachers. They would be a large part of a conscription pool, if only because many would not qualify for college deferral. Most of those drafted for the Viet Nam war had little or no education beyond high school.

According to this lady, if men and women get the same education and agree on what the “correct answers” are, it is easier for their relationship to work.

"How We Become Zealots and How We Stop
The more we root our identity in something solid, the less likely we are to lash out when others question our views.

A few years ago, at the height of the Social Justice Fundamentalism (SJF) movement, I texted a friend asking for her thoughts on Ibram Kendi’s book How to Be An Antiracist. I expressed concern that the book might be steering us in the wrong direction and asked if she’d be willing to steelman some of Kendi’s arguments for me so that I could be sure I wasn’t misrepresenting his position.

She instantly lashed out at me. She told me that the world didn’t need another “angry, self-righteous white person” lecturing people about race and said I had a moral obligation to shut up. It didn’t stop there. She kept attacking me, again and again. When I told her that her language was stirring memories of the abuse I had experienced as a child, her response was, “cry me a river.”

I was stunned. We had been friends for 15 years. She would have been a bridesmaid at my wedding. And now, here she was, flaying me alive for the crime of expressing mild political disagreement.

What was going on?

I started doing some research and quickly realized I wasn’t alone. Many people have found themselves on the receiving end of similar outbursts from someone they once considered close, who lashed out or even ended relationships over political differences. After Donald Trump won the 2024 presidential election, 23 percent of Democrats reported that they were likely to spend less time with certain family members over the holidays because of their political views. One Huffington Post piece summed up the zeitgeist among a certain segment of the left: “My Husband And His Family Voted For Trump — So I’m Canceling Thanksgiving And Christmas.”

A 2024 report from the American Psychological Association found that more than one in five Americans (21 percent) have become estranged from a family member due to political differences.

And it’s not just relationships that are breaking down. A disturbing number of partisans across the political spectrum see their political opponents as less than human.

Since this got moved to the Politics section, she did a response this morning.

Serious question. I think she is hot, but do you find her too irritating to be with?

There was a humorous post on ISG of a session with a Montreal escort from VOG who irritated this customer by talking about American politics for the first half of the session, particularly her dislike of some person in American politics. The reviewer found this irritating and gave her a bad score.

The lady in the video says there is a place for politics in evaluating a dating partner. Should politics be off the agenda in the discussion part of the commercial sex session?

No shit it should if in the bedroom. Seeing a SP you're there for a service. STFU and make some light talk and go there for what you're there for and get out. No need to bring up politics or religion during a sex session. Most SPs are probably on the left side anyway but who cares what side they are on. As for dating someone who you think you might wanna potentially be with long term then bring up certain topics sure. Talk about how you'd raise kids if you want kids. Talk about important stuff like thoughts on vaccines. Quite a few people broke up during Covid because of their stance on vaccine especially if they have kids. Companies, sports and commercial sex sessions should be secular and non-politically. Anyone talking about their views on social media platforms like that could lose customers, but that's their choice because some people don't really care and will still see her for the service aspect. No different than entertainers taking a stance or picking a side openly. Some people won't eat at Chick Fil A because they know the CEO's beliefs and opinions where as others who like the taste will still go regardless. If she wants to talk about it on social platforms and lose some clients that's her choice and she should know what kinda comments would follow as it seems obvious. Some people date and enjoy the company and sex then later on bring up things like wanting kids and one person might say they don't want kids or maybe later on in life than the other wanting sooner so they break up. Others during dating early on might bring up certain topics like that because they don't like wasting their time.

The vids on YT with workers discussing things generally leans left and the right/left debate is pretty much based on religion especially when it comes to things like abortion and what not. Most liberal types don't enjoy being controlled and what not it's nothing new. There are a few couples who vote for different sides and get along, but I'd say it's the far types that prefer sticking with people that align with their opinions and beliefs otherwise you're looking at a relationship with tension.

I'm not on any social platforms like that nor care to waste time debating people or uneducated people on other topics since it gets time consuming and annoying. Some people even with facts won't listen at times. I see people arguing on FB often and I'm at the point I just scroll by. I won't even look at the political section on this forum.
