Before he passed away in 2005, legendary football player George Best's dream was that, one day, Ireland would be united. Could it happen?
In the recent Northern Irish Election Sinn Fain won 27 and the right to form the government for the first time. The Democratic Union Party got 24 seats, the big winner was the independent Alliance Party who went from 3 seats to 17. The Northern Ireland Protocol is making the the region uniformly richer. That didn't sit well with the DUP and the Ulster Volunteer Force who aggressively lobbied for Article 16. Had it been implemented by Westminster it would have rendered The Good Friday Accord void.
