The Canadian Train

For all the terb members who have expressed doubts (and worse) about
my canadian patriotism, I am pleased to announce that I will shortly embark
on a trip on the via train from lake to shining sea, on the fine train aptly
named "the Canadian".

I made the trip from Toronto to Vancouver in my early 20's. Makes one truly appreciate the amazing size and beauty of this country. It's a great way to travel, but most people don't have the time or patience anymore ... good for you.

It's a great trip for scenery....except for Saskatchewan.

If you go around harvest time in the fall, the vast expanses of wheat fields being harvested are interesting (if you come from an agricultural background), but otherwise....Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.....
