I never thought of it that way good point. Come to think of it in high school I do remember girls putting there hair in a bun when ready to fight lolAlthough I agree with some of the changes, there’s a reason for short hair on the head as well as facial hair. In a hand to hand combat situation, the opposition will use any kind of leverage, including hair pulling to gain the upper hand. I was taught this in self defence martial arts class.
Perhaps they figure with rifles and hand guns, it’ll never come down to hand to hand fighting for survival these days.
