the banning of pesticides in Ontario

I have heard today the the liberals are going to ban pesticides except for farmers, oh ya we'll allow them to spray fruit and vegetables and the poison
will enter the food chain so why ban at all?

I used to be licensed to spray weeds and insects gave it up for insurance reasons. There is no documented eveidence that 2-4d if used properly is dangerous.

The stock answer from the tree huggers when questioned about this is that all the studies are biased because industry does or pays for them. The only good studies are the ones that agree with what they say, this battle is lost for now, when taxes go up to replace damaged sports fieldas and parks you know who to thank.

But please discontinue use of them for your childrens sake. Bringing some of these
chemicals into your houise on your clothes can give cancer to your children.

I personally use ROUNDUP a great weed killer. If I cannot buy it off the shelf I guess my farmer friends will sell it to me no problem.

Really, the policies of environmentalists are directily leading to the famine that is starting in the third world. America's decision to switch to ethanol has tripled the price of wheat and corn. Europe's biodiesel position has been condemned as well.

As for giving cancer to your children, something seems to have been lost here. The world's population in 2008 is 6.2 billion. That is of course about to drop over the next few years but as the character Joel Goodson said in Risky Business, "Sometimes ya have to say 'What the fuck".

In the 1930's when people saw the Communists starving the Ukranians to death most people ignored them. Then when Hitler got going people made treaties with him. After the War people found out that yes governments can be evil, and yes they can intentionally create genocide.

Right now the "New Left" Environmentalists are starting a genocide. Like the people in the 1930's we are going to do nothing. People in the West, people like you will cheer the environmentalists on.
