Cherry could have been fired years ago, he's said a lot worse, the "poppy" intermission was nothing.
Self-righteous McLean doing his extreme liberal act, attacked him on the Sunday night Hometown Hockey opening after he's heard about complaints coming in about it and before the Monday morning suits come in, protecting himself and putting it all 100% on Cherry's shoulders he didn't have to say anything he could've waited until Monday, but no, he had to save himself.
McLean seems to be auditioning for an award every time he speaks, he goes on these little tangents mentioning players parents and their coaches and other pointless comments where people don't even know what he's talking about. It's just bewildering that that he talks too much and about nothing.
