Started a new thread because the other one is too long.
His "friend" who could very well be an MPA, is probably gorgeous so she attracts tons of guys wherever she goes...she has the pick of the best (and worst if she chooses). If us guys had women propositioning us wherever we go, eventually we would fall prey to some or many hotties even if we were seriously involved or attached to someone we care about and even love. No matter how much you are in love, except in very rare situations, love starts to wane in a few weeks or months or even years depending on each situation. This friend of Paul's probably has been hurt before by someone leaving her whether it be her dad or mom or both or her first love or a very serious love of her life. As she goes from relationship to relationship, she expects it to end in some sort of heartbreaking way so she gets prepared for it by keeping some men on the side for affection and hot sex if she so desires. The more she wants a meaningful relationship, the more affection and being wanted she craves...a double-edged sword...she cannot commit fully because she expects it to end eventually. She probably feels, everyone she has ever loved or at least was infatuated with, leaves her...when, in fact, she is the one that pushes them to the brink of anger or despair because of her cheating ways and none of them can trust her any longer no matter how much she vows to be good.
Just my 2 cents.
