The amount of money they spend on not only the homes there but the luxury upgrades in renovations is mind blowing.

It’s the quietest rich enclave in Toronto. Only drs and lawyers can afford to be there.

Yeah, I even heard that there is one house that has a coach house (no, no horses there now) in the back. LOL!

The Laureles neighbourhood in Medellin, Colombia, clinched the top spot.

Hey, Montreal also made the list.

"Montreal’s downtown core was the only other Canadian neighbourhood to make the list, inching two spots above Toronto at 36th."

I actually shared a downtown apartment with my Singapore roommate when I attended McGill. Those who know Montreal will know that downtown is just a stone's throw south and the infamous Reservoir is just a stone's throw north.

How cool is the Annex, they have a Jean Sibelius Square right in the middle of it. They must have had quite a hootenanny on Dec 7th 2017, the 100th Anniversary of Finnish Independence.

I haven't there since before the world ended. There were a few bars and live music venues I used to frequent. I recall many a misspent night staggering out of Lee's Palace and the Tranzac!

And can't forget Greg's Ice Cream. I have to make it back there for a toasted marshmallow hot fudge sundae!

I live nearby, and am sad to report that Greg’s has closed shop at this location, another COVID casualty. It is now a “Daily Dumpling Wonton Co.”, which is also very good.

Well that sucks! The location in the Distillery has closed down too. A lady I see regularly lives in the Canary District and I stopped there last summer only to discover that it's closed as well.

Still, I did discover Demetre's Cajeta Swirled Goat Cheese when I stopped in there as a consolation prize. Don't knock it, it taste's like a spiced cheese cake. It's pretty amazing!
