THAT guy in the bathroom

As many of you know, I attend a lot of heavy metal concerts - a majority of them being in T.O. Since not a lot of my female friends enjoy that atmosphere, I regularly go with like-minded guys. As a side note: I am not prejudice or racist in any way, this is a mere observation of behaviour.
I wanted to know what's the deal with the black guy in the bathroom???

Are you supposed to tip him? Does he really steal all the paper towels in the bathroom forcing you to ask him for some? Does he always stand in the way of the sink when you're trying to wash your hands?

I've never seen a female in a girl's washroom do this, so why is THAT guy in every bar/club only in the men's washroom and why does he not keep it tidy? I have heard that some places pay him, or he's a homeless guy they let work for that nite just to keep him off the street - but since when did it become a handicap to do the regular washroom routine and require assistance??

The majority of washroom attendants I have seen are Caucasian, and I have never found there to be a shortage of washroom supplies. As far as I know and have experienced, the attendant may offer cologne, and that is really about it.

But then again, I have only ever come across a few of them, so what do I know.

I've seen the guy empty the paper towels in some strip clubs. he works solely on tips and all the stuff he has is usually his.
my view is if the paper towels are empty he did it and it is okay to use his towels.
if you use ANY thing else tip the guy.
I usually tip once a night... hell on a night of drinking once you break the seal it can be many trips, tipping every time is ridiculous. In a lot of bars he usually hogs a sink and since there are usually only 2 sinks that is a pain.

i like when these guys are there. I dont like touching the faucet to turn it off, cause my "dirty" hands and dozens of others just touched them to turn it on so touching the faucet a second time negates the whole washing thing. So i like these guys for that reason alone.

I never said I was in the bathroom???? I have family and friends that always complain about the guy who gets in their way. I'm sure that wasn't the sexy response you were looking for lol.

I tiped these guys when visiting India. I think they were actually workers, but probably very lowly paid. And they actually cleaned the washrooms. I might slip him a few bucks if I had change on me, but don't feel obligated to tip.

Yes, I am irritated by the dude in the bathroom! I am perfectly capable of taking care of myself in there and I don't need his help to squirt some soap in my hand, or grab a towel to dry my hands.
