And the cases keeps going up. There has been complete failure of Federal and Provincial govt. Canada was never ready for COVID and even today lacks behind other countries with similar GDP. I guess Trudeau and Ford are going for herd immunity. Shame that these leaders know so little that immunity only last 6 months.

Down to 30,000?

34,000 pending.

Hospitalizations: the flat black line.
...
Maybe you should look at the data because hospitalisations have been climbing significantly in the past month (your issue is likely that they put both graphs on the same scale). The positivity rate is also way up.

In September we were averaging around 50 hospitalisations. Current average is just under 300. Are you going to stick with your claim that a 600% increase is "flat enough to skate on"?

Cheeta, how many threads are you going to start on this same topic? I do appreciate that your complaints about testing are far more based in reality than the people trying to claim covid isn't a problem.

Testing for the month of October has not been down by half. There are only 4 days in October that saw testing in Ontario below 30,000/day with 2 of those days being below 25,000/day, but most of the month was either over 40,000/day or just around that number.
Where are you getting that testing is down to half?

I was looking on few days that testing was around 25K. Still 40K testing is not acceptable . We need rapid testing and more access to testing.

There are only 2 days for the whole month of October that are below 25,000 tests/day. And 40,000 tests/day in Ontario is a substantial number of tests when compared to many other advanced westernized nations. Even with 40,000 tests/day one of the reasons they don't hit the number on some days is because people are not going in for tests.
Canada about 3 weeks ago just ordered Millions of rapid testing kits at first it was around 8Mln rapid test kits ordered, then they just added another 22Mln rapid kits.

As you might know. Rapid test kits are reserved for healthcare worker not for public if my memory serve me correctly.

Heaven
why are you all still looking at death rates and case numbers. They are drastically overstated and don't mean anything at all.
