What do you know about TERB? The newest current version of TERB was born 5 years ago. Minus the fancy colours and design. It was over 5 years ago when I received an email from some guy named Fred Zed (WTF?) Asking me if I wanted to join his new board. Back in those days you had ***, Lyla's List, Canbest and some others, including starblvd which has grown up to be TERB.

What do you know about the old EBC, 2 Corby, I.T and 50 Yorkville? Back when Friends was the best incall around.

How about a trip back when The Fan and Bunnies were the hot spot.

How about old posters like Pool, Toad on line, Ripped, Sick my Duck, and Good Samaritan. Where are they?

A lot of shit has happened in the last 5 years.

I have gone back into the archives and did some reading. The board has certainly changed a great deal since its birth in Aug of 2001. The reviews have also changed a great deal. Naturally with its growth you get alot more shall I say chatter not relating to the hobby, but I guess that is just the natural progression of getting a bunch of people together and discussing stuff. I know I am glad to be apart of it. I hope one day someone will ask the same question about me and the legacy of reviews I leave behind. For the meantime though, I don't think I'll be going anywhere.

The one thing I do regret is not joining up earlier. I heard about TERB a long time ago, but just never got around to checking it out until August of 2005. I have always been a pretty serious hobbyist, and I kno I would have saved alot of money if I had joined up earlier. I would have also contributed to alot of TOFTTing. Anyways, all water under the bridge. I am happy none the less, regardless of how late I joined up. Good job Fred, and all the MODS. You guys rock!! :D

I've been here since the get-go, albeit under different handles. :D

I forgot about lyla's list! Canbest was terrible, but sometimes they had more info on the MP scene. It's still hard to believe that the best MP that ever was was above Mr. Sub at Bay and Yorkville on the cusp of the toniest piece of real estate in the city! LOL

Terb was so much wilder in those days, and yet also tamer by today's fast food standards on Terb.

I have been a member since Sept. '02. I think that I was a member at Perb before Terb but I am not sure. I can't check as for some reason I can not access Perb anymore??? My browser window says "access denied" when I try.I am not banned there as I used vtunnel to go there and sign in and got the welcome message. Anyway-those Perberts argue too much for me anyway.

I also remember star-boulevard and my first escort review board was The Big Doggie.

BTW-how do I find my first post anyway. i would be curious to see that.

You go into your profile and it will give you the option of looking at every thread you have posted.
When I do this all I can find is 500 posts. The first one being on 11-03-2005, What happened to the other 300?

That you will have to let the MODs answer for you. I presume the server only keeps the last 500. You can search for the first thread you started though.

Been in for nearly 3 years now ...

I started visiting terb at the end of 2003, under a different handle. I never even knew of terb until I was off work for a month in 2003. Armed with a big severance package and way too much time on my hands, I stumbled upon terb while surfing the net. I was strictly an SC guy at the time and never would have considered visting SPs or MPs if it hadn't been for terb and its terbites. So, thank you terb ... I think!?!

Well I have an Aug 2001 date attached to me so I guess I was here at the beginning of this version. Actually I know there was a lot of people here then and I seem to recall having to rejoin after a crash or something. I was just getting into the swing of the board when that happened and so I definitely had to rejoin to carry on the enjoyment.

I am sure that Shiek or Fred will join this thread sooner or later and lay down some of the exact timelines for the newer members. It has all been fun and I have met some great people both online and in person through here. I will continue even when my hobbying days come to an end, which is not planned at the moment.

I never heard of it until last year.
I want to know what's in store for the future, TERB can't afford to rest on its past. Will there be an attempt to broaden the base or consolidate to do what it does best?

Yeah I remember canbest that's the first forum that I stumbled upon. When it closed down I forget how I found terb. But yeah I guess I've been on hobbying forums for about 7 years.

It all started with a good paying job and trips to the SC.

Started considering MPs when a buddy commented on how his job entailed deliverying construction supplies and he noticed all these hot women walking in and out of the place across the street and when he asked about it he found yout is was a MP.

Then discovering review boards and realizing there were cheaper alternatives. Next thing you know its MPAs and SPs.

I remember my first MPA was in Kitchener at a place called Cleopatras and the MPAs name was Katie.

Had joined TERB's earlier version as Soul Brother Number One......
Then rejoined the newer version after lurking for a few years.....

Back then I had no idea about SP/MPA scene......
Back then TERB (and CanBest) helped me find places like Oasis, the Massage Parlour on Yonge (792A or something just north of college) and so may other places.....

Happy Birthday TERB!!!!:D
You been an invaluable tool in my life as a hobbyist!!!!

I remember first finding the earlier incarnation in July '01 thinking what a strange looking site it was. When I went back to look at it again, it was gone, replaced by the much more user-friendly version we have now.
Happy Birthday, thank you for giving me so much useful (and entertaining) information.

I do remember this one guy who was known as "WillyWants" on this board.
I remember him too. I found his review style (using "WillyWants" in the review) different and entertaining.

When I joined last year, I was completely green when it came to 'The Hobby'. A friend of mine (who is still lurking... you WUSS), told me about TURD (that's what I thought he said at the time). In many ways, I still feel very, very green. I think it's great to have a resource like this. I also see how it can be a double edged sword for clients and SPs. The Lounge really has become a 'lounge' for me. I have a very busy life with work & home - and it's a whole lot easier for me to 'meet my friends' simply by grabbing a computer and punching in a few keystrokes - rather than war with the SO about being out and about so late.

It would be a pretty big risk for me to attend any of the advertised TERB parties... I'm still quite paranoid about my activities being discovered by the SO. I do think it would be cool to have a few drinks and a few laughs with some of the gents (and ladies) here though...
