I got one also, using Firefox focus.
I alternate between Firefox and Edge and the silly message keeps popping up. I posted the one about TERB but the same message pops up when I try to access some other sites as well. Here's the one about Toronto Sun.

Does the warning show up when you use Edge, but also state that Firefox detected the issue? That seems weird.

What happens if you disable whatever specific Firefox internal scanning is running? (I'm no expert though...)

Yes, happens on both Edge and Firefox. What O/S are you using?

I'm no expert either so can't answer.

La la land
It happened to me 2-3 weeks ago no matter which Browser I used. And it wouldn't or gave me a hard time allowing to access Niagara Falls Agency Escorts websites and here.

I notice this happens to me every 1.5 - 2 years. Some Internet upgrade, OS, communication upgrade?. I don't know but it lasted 2 weeks then it stopped.

Same thing with my cell phone it started to beep 2 days ago for no reason. In the end I turned it off completely for 5 mins. It beep twice after I turned it on then it stopped.
So..... Aliens spying on us?

Plain old Windows 10. I long ago took Firefox off my computer. Now only use Microsoft Edge, and occasionally Chrome.

I'm very happy with Malwarebytes Premium as my anti-virus software. Been using it for years with some warnings of risky web sites, but no infections.

I don't get this error on Chrome or Firefox and I use them on desktop and mobile. Try clearing your browser's temporary files including browsing history, cookies and cached images. On Firefox, press Ctrl + Shift + Del or on your keyboard and this window pops up.

Note: if you clear "Cookies" then you'll be logged off of any web-sites you've used like Gmail, Outlook, Terb, etc. You will need to type your username and password again for those sites. Luckily, all browsers stores these for you. In the Firefox settings, look for the Login and Passwords section and clicking the Saved Logins button. When you clear cookies, any site you've customized will go back to its default state. So you will have to customize those sites again. This process is the similar in all browsers like Edge and Chrome.

If this process doesn't work, then you can also try following these steps from this article:

.

Corrupted certificate store
You may also see certificate error messages when the file in your profile folder that stores your certificates cert9.db has become corrupted. Try to delete this file while Firefox is closed to regenerate it:

Note: You should only perform these steps as a last resort, after all other troubleshooting steps have failed.
  1. Open your profile folder:
    • Click the menu button
      Fx89menuButton
, click Help and select More Troubleshooting Information. The Troubleshooting Information tab will open.
    • Under the Application Basics section next to Profile Folder, click Open Folder. Your profile folder will open.
  2. Note: If you are unable to open or use Firefox, follow the instructions in Finding your profile without opening Firefox.

  3. Click the Firefox menu
    Fx89menuButton
    and select Exit.
  4. Click on the file named cert9.db.
  5. Press Delete.
  6. Restart Firefox.
Note: cert9.db will be recreated when you restart Firefox. This is normal.

There was a Canada wide Amber Alert test sent out on Wednesday I think. That might be the beep you heard.

It's possible that someone might get this warning if they use the http protocol, instead of https in the site url.

@Darts: I use Firefox, and have never received this warning for TERB. I always enter the site from a link in 'New Tab'.

I use Chrome and I've never seen that message. Norton is my anti-virus and it's showing a green check.

These warnings are just a plot by IT technicians to guarantee employment. I have a friend who knew somebody that had read on Facebook that if you hit a shift key three times and whisper 'Norom' before typing on the internet, electronic bytes get crossed making surveillance impossible.

I've been posting on Terb and a few sexually disgusting sites with immunity.

Relax !

Cool ! Do they have a department that analyses disgusting pornographic sites that could corrupt the moral fiber of the religious right in the USA ? Maybe Russian blackmail videos that can be used to corrupt politicians (eg pissing ) ??
