you will see that we get MORE than 500, 000 hit`s a day, around 800 000 the last few days to be precise !

Alexa rankings are extremely unreliable. I am not 100% sure how they compile their rankings but for practical purposes those rankings are almost useless ( I think they are based mostly on the number of sites linking to your domain, not to your site traffic ).

Thanks Fred for the info. I have a friend that keeps bragging that his site is 12000th so out of curiosity I checked out what terb is too.

500,000, even if each surfer hits an average 20 pages (some a lot more, some a lot less probably) a day, that's 25,000 actual people, actual consumers with more money to spend than most...

They also list my contact info as BABA brewski..... Menlo Park, CA. Sure OK.
My webpage is over a year old (they say it's been on line since 1997 , NOT) and has taken a total of 2389 hits since its conception. LOL.

Thanks. It's actually more like 7000-8000 people a day. Increases by about 10% - 15% winter time. However, most of our users are not just site tourists who are in and out in one second. Our average user spends half an hour or more on the site daily, hence the large number of hits/page views.
