Recently, I saw a "client" on Twitter telling an escort that she should raise her rates and "we will pay." This input was unsolicited. The escort did not mention anything about rates, and this person, out of nowhere, told her to raise her rates. The escort's response was that she considers a number of factors when deciding on her rates, and she is happy with her current rates, starting at $450/hr.

Imagine going to your cellphone provider, and telling them that you want to give them more money. What is the likely intelligence level of such a person?

I figure there's one of two scenarios here. Either he's trying to underhandedly make her more exclusive, for his own benefit. Or he's a white knight attempting to ingratiate himself.
I'm leaning towards the latter. You do see quite a bit of that in this industry. And to a certain extent it works. Who doesn't like to hear that they're worthy of more?

Simple answer, the law of supply and demand applies to SPs as well as chicken dinners. If Swiss Chalet were to arbitrarily raise their prices on a whim, without valid reason. A significant portion of clients will go else where. Some will pay the increase for the same product ( or service ), and some will return less often but will continue to patronize the place out of personal convenience but may split their patronage elsewhere. In the end there may be an increase per transaction but the bottom line will suffer.

Not necessarily. They can raise the price and still make more money than before because the extra that the fewer customers pay still is more in total than the total before the price hike. So there is an optimal amount.

If a girl were to raise her rates to $450 an hour, than she woule see very clients. However, the clients that do see her would tend to be wealthy, and they may be more generous. They may have a better experience too (staying a a 5 star hotel vs motel, getting bigger tips).

The price right now is $240 an hour for fs. This is the industry market rate. Anyone who charges $450 an hour is seeking out a higher end clientele and therefore must be much more attractve or offer services that are not usually offered and rare.

Twitter is plagued with lapdogs who fawn over women. They came up in other threads recently too. One of those - @Simon_winters (?) also goes on rants about how he's smarter than TERB guys and how he hates TERB.

There is no real proof that these guys book girls. They seem to exist simply on Twitter trying to flatter girls' attention. There has been some speculation that they are troll accounts started by certain aggressive escorts. (Can't name them on TERB). But others have suggested that they are just losers and sniffers.

I get a kick out of reading their stupidity thus I do not block anyone. I also get a kick out of the replies and all I see is old desperate men who cannot find a lady to have dinner with them for free and are happy to pay social time to just feed and chit chat with their "hired" provider.
