Tech Help Question on Browser problems

Can any techi out there help here?

The last couple weeks I've been having a problem getting into both Yahoo games and Hushmail.com, from any of the 3 browsers I use, Opera, Firefox and IE.

What happens is, after logging into either of these sites, the 3 browsers just shut down taking you back to the PC desktop.

Anyone else having this problem or know what may be the matter?

have you got the latest java update.

after installing the latest java make sure you go to add.remove programs and remove all the previous installations of java.

Went to that java.com site you posted but couldn't get in!
Used all 3 browsers and before that site was fully loaded it would close the browsers as if you had hit that X button in the extreme top right corner of the browsers to exit them!

Not sure what is going on here......

uninstall java from your computer from the control panel and the add/remove option.

next download the java update.

CLOSE ALL BROWSERS when doing the update.

if that doesn't work then I assume you have spyware problems but since it affects all browsers, I suspect a java applet is causing the browsers to crash.

It worked.
Uninstalled the old java and then D/L and installed the java update.
Can get into both sites again.
