I went to the Generals game last night and they did a cool ceremony for John Tavares prior to the game. They started with a video tribute then introduced JT who skated onto the ice with his Team Canada Jersey on and medal ( i think around his neck) I wasnt in a great spot to see if it was there but thought it was. Anyway it was so cool to see him in that jersey! He peeled it off and put on his Gens jersey. The place went nuts and even the 67's players cheered for the guy. It gave me chills to be honest. I truly would love to see a world jr. game but noticed on their site that they only sell tix in packages and im not spending that kinda cash to go. Any chance of getting a single game ticket out there. Any terbites have any? Just thought Id throw it out there. Ya never know. Oh and the Gens kicked ass last night 10-4 (minus Logan Couture for the 67's though) The Gens added alot of veteren depth at the trade deadline and looked great. New goalie Neuvirth (ex Plymouth last year and Windsor this year) looked great at times and shakey on others but im sure he was a bit nervous. anyway Tickets anyone?

Sorry........... I do not have tickets but I will echo your feelings on seeing the tribute to JT.

I do not get to nearly as many junior games as I once did, but in past years I would always try to make it to as many rinks as I could, right after the WJHC where the returning players were honoured. It was a great way for the fans to thank the kids for making us proud watching them.

WJHC tickets for Ottawa will be tough to get. I can only suggest looking online, ebay, Ottawa newspapers, etc. If you are in the area, you can always get them from a scalper.

heading down to Ottawa over xmas without tickets in hand will be a last resort. Scalpers might be charging more than a whole package for one game by then. Ill have to look into it and start looking for friends with connections

Classy move by the 67's.

Side note, Tavares went down in a heap in the corner late in the game last night. It looked serious for a while like he was holding his arm or shoulder. He got up and skated by the goalie and shouted something at him, obviously pissed off big time. JT did come back for a couple more shifts before the game ended. I figure he was speard in the crotch and it just took a bit to get it all together. It was really getting nasty at the end of the game. New tough guy Ryan Baldwin #26, was looking to fight on every shift it seems. Could be nasty tonight. Will be watching on Rogers for sure.

wave at me, im watching it right now. wait that wont work. Nevermind. Scrappy first period, a few teeth went missing. 2-0 Ottawa after one. 2-2 now JT sweet goal after some dude dropped his gloves and stick to start a fight with him for no reason he skated by got the puck came out and wrist shot top corner. Oshawa's new goalie not looking too great, big rebounds cant seem to handle the puck well. Shit 3-2 Ottawa as I type.
