Tariffs on Canada delayed for 30 days. Edit: Trump folds again. 90 day pause.

The more the merrier. We'll see what the asshole's approval rating will be like in 6 months when inflation goes through the roof.

Those GOP Congresspersons and Senators will be dropping like flies in the mid terms. Let's kill the GOP as a viable political organization outside the Bible Belt and break up the USA.
I hope the Dems take the House and Senate at the mid-terms.

During his first term, it took 8 months until Bannon was forced out and Trump got his wings clipped. Elon Just got forced out and congress is fighting back against his liberation, took 3 months.

If he does not actually go through with the 25% auto tariff on Canada then Canada is ok but we will not know until the 4th I think.

His 67% on China and Taiwan @ 32% on the surface is very bad news for the US stock market.

laterst tartiff nonsense is not that damaging for canada but that can change with the stupid beliefs of crazy Trump

If the American market continues to dip and Americans lose jobs and inflation goes up no telling WTF Trump will do as there is no one in his circle to stop him

four more years of this idiot

He has changed his MAGA hat to Trump was right about everything

And to the Canadians that support Trump and think he’s the second coming of Christ, move the US.

According to Carney within the article, the Whitehouse has indicated there will be more tariffs to come
I still think these tariffs won't be the disaster everyone is making them out to be.

Everybody needs to chill the fuck out

We could very well have a Black Thursday on the DOW today if foreigners have a retaliatory sell-off

Looks like I was right about the Senate and that recent vote to get rid of tariffs. Now if the stock market does get hammered all it will take is a few Congressman to flip and Trump will have a revolt on his hands. Very interesting dynamics coming I think.

This upcoming global trade war is either going to an incredible success story, or a total disaster.

I have no idea which though 😐

Does that Stellantis plant build cars or produce auto parts??
The point is that more will shut down if it is truly 25% across the board for cars in Canada and Mexico. It will begin to affect parts unless there is a carve out for Mexico and Canada, which is possible.

Delusional Danielle Smith rambles about nonsense that leads to nothing at PragurU for an hour.

If this is what she's doing on her trips to the States, no wonder her talks keep going nowhere.

Doesn't that worry you a little about supporting Pee Pee?

I think a back channel threat was made to surcharge energy. That would have very quickly spiral led things. That's why things didn't move further against us and Trump to tone down the rhetoric. Next will be a supposed "renegotiated" trade deal after the election.

Right, but you posted a car manufacturing plant thats shutting down for 2 weeks, which has nothing to do with auto parts manufacturing.

Another one of your FAILS 😛
