Taking an SP on vacation

Hey guys.

What is the protocol for asking an SP to go on vacation with you? I would like to get away to somewhere warm this month, and a travel companion would be nice. Airfare, accomodations, meals/booze would be on me, but what about the SP's normal fees? I would imagine a hefty discount would be negotiable, or am I assuming wrong?

By no means, am I on a shoestring budget, but I can't afford to simply go nuts either.... unless... hmmmm... NO - I cannot afford to go nuts this time!

Are there any other gotchas I need to consider?

Just ask someone you know and like ... someone who, if not a regular, is at least a "repeat". Can you imagine anything worse than being on holiday with someone you can't stand? If I wanted to do that, I'd get married!

Tell her what you want to do and where (more or less) you want to go and those thoughts. Tell her she won't have to put her hand in her pocket for the duration - within reason! - tell her you're sure-as-hell not going to pay $200/hr for a whole week .... and ask what she wants by way of remuneration.

She may wish to travel separately and book her own flights ... even if anonymity is not a problem, detailed questions (about what each knows about the other) at customs might be, particularly if travelling through the States.

I am reminded of the time I paid to have a friend flown down south to meet me for a weekend (I was working abroad, as opposed to "a broad" ). We had fooled around a couple of time previously, but never sex. She was a pretty sexual person in general, so naturally I made the HUGE mistake of assuming sex was simply going to happen. Well, you know where this is going... of course there was no sex, and moreover, it turns out I could not stand this person! You are correct, MidLife - nothing is worse than spending 24 hours/day with someone you can't stand.

Ergo, the SP route - which I would imagine is much more expensive, but more to the point. Just so long as everything is on the table up front, I guess.

I'm starting to rethink this thing altogether. ???

Somehow I think the whole idea of taking an sp on vacation just sounds a lot better than it actually is. I'm sure it has worked out great for some, but I, for one, don't think I'd ever try it.

When I think about some of the vacations I have taken with good friends, and how after spending a few days with them can drive me crazy, imagine how it would be to travel with a relative stranger? I'd much rather "rent" some companionship at my destination, then be tied to someone for a whole blasted trip!

There's another side to that, though...at least in my own experience those we tend to get aggravated with the most are the very people we know well-- somehow knowing them and being *very* comfortable seems to give us license to consider them annoying. (IOW...Novelty can be exciting.) In any case I too would be interested in knowing what a well-selected SP would charge for such an expedition.

It's Worked for Me / $200 per day

I've taken a girl I met in Buenos Aires on vacations twice. I've paid her $200 per day but I expect that I could get away with paying her less. It's worked well. I am thinking about doing it again soon. But I think that I've (we've) been lucky. On my way to Cancun for our first vacation I started to look at it from her perspective and decided that she'd be nuts to show up. But she did and I had a great time and she seemed to enjoy herself too. At least she agreed to a second vacation the following year and that went well too.

I haven't found another way to enjoy steady sex at a resort area. Most of the places with reasonably priced SPs are not resort areas. I once took a girl I met in San Jose, Costa Rica to a beach resort in Costa Rica. That was a terrible experience.

I'd say go for it, BUT ... have a bail out plan in case it does not work. And make sure you both have realistic expectations. If she wants to go dancing every night until 4am and you like to turn in at 11pm that's something you want to discuss before you reach a point of no return.

When you said you could afford it but "couldn't go nuts..." I think you may be in for a shocker. While this topic has been discussed before, and much contention was the rates being charged. The 200 mentioned earlier was the bargain of the century as rates as high as 2000 per day were not uncommon.

If you take one on a week vacation now you're talking about 14K. While the time spent with a beautiful woman is certainly enjoyable, with 14K you could put a down payment on a house or at least a condo.

Generally the gentlemen that take SP's on vacations..... have seen them in the past and enjoy their company, and visa versa most SP's won't go on vacation unless they have met you prior!and second...have the money to do it!.... these men don't have to worry about costs..etc.....

When people talk about hiring women when they are at their destination....take into considersation that you are no longer in Canada!, most likely you are in a 3rd world country that does not have the same health care facilities readily available in Canada....ie: protection....services for the treatment of STD's etc....

If u want to take an SP make sure what u want and how much u r willing to spend for ( fare, sex, etc). so that u may not have misundertandings with an SP. Also, in this case, u gonna reveal some personal information--like your real name etc. And since she is an SP, there gonna be a lot of flirting with other boys. In other words, you won't really be exclusive with your SP. SO much hassle and danger...I made that mistake before......Better take a companion from the place where ur going....Next time I'll do this.

well, cid, 200 a day is relatively affordable. I've only ever travelled with a gf twice, the rest of the time I've had to pay through the nose for single suppliment. One place charged me 800 for a week. The extra 6 would be worth it (I know a couple of sp's that I would adore to spend a week with).

Descarte: Make sure you know what you want when considering taking an sp away with you. It is unreasonable to expect wall to wall sex at the drop of a hat. If you're looking for companionship (and from all my travelling things are better when shared) then you might consider a friend or something.

Has anyone ever tried a cruise on Carnival? I've never been, but I know some people that swear by them for regular vacations. There is a singles cruise to the Carribbean and New Orleans for Mardi Gras, but it seems almost too good to be true.

I'm in the process of arranging a brief [3 day] trip with a yet-to-be chosen SP. This has certainly emphasized the importance [as noted previously in this post] of doing reseach and ensuring some sort of mutual connection. As others have noted - a few days is vastly different than a 2 or 3 hour rendezvous. Definitely 'meet' the person in advance at least a couple of times and make sure your expectations are the same....then, good luck.

I'm wit this guy, I have met soooooo many HOT women whiles on vacation that I would never even consider paying for any sp in the world to travel with me. Dude, when I was in Dom Rep (Santa Domingo) a few back we stumbled across this bar in town and as soon as my friends and I walked in there was a 1 women on my left side licking my ear, a different women on my right side kissing my neck and when i sat down at the table another women stratled me face to face and started riding me. She did this to try and get me aroused in hopes that I would choose her. It was crasy, I've never in my life experienced that type of aggressive behaviour by women.

Carnival is more family oriented.

Singles cruise works in theory, I have never taken one singles cruise and don't plan to ,since I won't ever be able to know what kind of crowd I will be "trapped with" for those few days....it's gonna be hit and miss and I just don't have that much time on my hand to risk it.

With sufficient pre trip research, local talents and bringing sand to the beach are the best, less risky options.

I'm headed for south america in March for spring break. Florida is so passe now that I'll probably never go back to Miami or Tampa.
