A friend of mine (a couple actually) is looking for some swinging action.

They are just starting out and toying with the idea and asked me if I knew anywhere that is good. Either websites or clubs. They are looking for somewhere from Toronto - Barrie.

I thought maybe some of you could help. i don't follow that scene so I really couldn't offer any advice other than offering to ask here.

If you guys know of any respectable swingers clubs or websites for the area it would be greatly appreciated if you could pass the info onto me so that I can forward it on to them. If you are recommending a club it would be extra helpful to include a website addy if they have one.

Do a Google search...

Sasha, I did a search a few months ago with google that turned up several very complete websites for swingers. A couple had great message boards covering most of North America. It is hard to tell about the clubs because there are so many listed, there must be thousands. I imagine other search engines will show similar results. You just have to do some hunting.

Your friend(s) might also be interested in Society Couples (search Google for website). Club Prive seems to put greater emphasis on the bisexual aspect than Society, but bisexual activity seems to be very commonplace in the swing scene.

Another point to check out - if it is important to them - is how well non-smokers are accommodated. It appears that a significant majority of swingers are smokers.

Prive is a lot harder core than some other clubs, it can be intimidating for people starting out. My suggestion would be xtabi, it is much more laid back. Also, a younger, more attractive crowd, if that matters. www.xtabi.ca.

is it harder to get invited there than prive

after all why would a guy want to go if its just like any another club.

the xtabi crowd is a younger, stylish and trendy crowd compared to club prive ... and a lot more subtle. the after parties seem to be more intimate and smaller gatherings than club prive.

as it has been noted before, your best chance to get invited to an after party is to bring a female who is comfortable interacting with other females ... in swinger's nights, the women make most of the decisions of who gets to come along ...

Old Times

Too many storeys to tell about this subject . There are more swingers in Barrie than people would ever dream of . After all it is still a BEDROOM community for Toronto , Right ? December advertised with great results in a Swingers Magazine (which shoots to hell the notion swingers will not pay for a good time) . It use to be Match Magazine . It has been called Tryst for a long while now . It can be found at

December had a photo session for the front cover but could not settle on the right shot to use . There is always the old stand-bye newspaper TAB . However I believe Tryst magazine is attached to one of the clubs mentioned above . Great social events and Sandy and her Hubby are a sweethearts .

i may live to regret asking asking this question ... but what is your expectation of swinger's parties ...?

you seem to be interested in attending ... but never really seem satisfied with the experience ...

is it merely a fascination with watching others have sex ...? is it the chance to have encounters with other women ... ? do you want people to watch you perform?

Changing Times ??

. By the sounds of what tbill has to say some things have changed , other standards are still there . Swinging is what got December in the escort business . I guess it helps that she and her partner hosted at a smaller swing club in Northern Ontario . She had no problems finding willing partners any time they attended an event . Very rare you find a couple that are both knockouts and neither were we . So you accept the fact to get what you want , you have to be OPEN minded . December is very Bi and if she took a fancy to a particular lady . it was always understood that her partner came with her and vise versa if you know what we mean . Yes looks play a big part in some swingers selection process . But just like in escorting some of the plainest looking , average men were great sex partners . Let me add as a man , that worked with the ladies as well .

Yes tbill FREE , safe , enjoyable SEX is all about in the end . It is much tougher for a single gent to score at any swingers affair . Couples prefer committed couples as partners , its often a security thing . But thats another whole can of worms

PS tbill We met as many compatible couples through swingers magazines as we did at club functions . Maybe its the click thing you speak of ? Alone couples are more relaxed when romeos , smooth talkers etc are out of the picture .

It is obvious with an attitude like that , that looks and partner would not be your only problem in not attracting possible partners . However others do not suffer your affliction and do SCORE as you put it . Reap what you sow tbill .
