I didn't know who Elisabeth Moss was when I started watching an excellent crime-mystery drama from New Zealand called Top of the Lake. Now a second season has been made but I don't know if it's being carried on North America. Also returning from Season 1, Gwendoline Christie.

Since stepping into the octagon versus Tom Hardy in Warrior, Joel Edgerton has done some great work. His new horror film could give The Mummy a rough time.

Religion is set in stone, science adapts.

Unfortunately the general population is not educated enough to grasp the workings of science. That's where Scientology thrives, among those who deny or discredit scientific research. The Trump Administration is doing it's part by cutting 30% of the upcoming budget from research and development. That will hurt the USA as other countries move ahead of them technologically. Scientology has found its place among less educated actors, Isaac Hayes gave most of what he earned to the cult. Nancy Cartwright, the voice of Bart Simpson, recently made a $10 million donation to the cause. They now have built their own soundstage in LA, from here on in that's where the rest of Tom Cruise's films will be shot. He is their Messiah, sent to this world to save humanity from itself.

All religions are scams in one form or the other. Scientology and Mormonism just seems more scammy than other religions because they originated in a time when education and science have progressed. But the other religions are no more "real" because they originated in the middle east or India a couple of thousand years ago.
