Godaddy is fine for small hosting, but be careful during the checkout process, they are notoriously famous for making you go through pages of upsell. Just purchase what you need and make sure nothing extra gets tossed into your shopping cart. Search Google for Godaddy coupon codes and bring your price down even more.

I was seriously considering godaddy but a couple of people I know with them have complained about poor tech support . . .

You have to know what you're doing with GoDaddy. Very limited hand holding but tons of online docs. Great for us geeks.

If you want handholding, Netfirms appears okay. Same goes for DotCanada.
