In the US, the following cities have large SP industries with LE ignoring it (but don't be surprised if there's an occasional bust):
Fort Lauderdale/Miami (the motherlode)
Research Triangle, NC
Baltimore/DC
Seattle
Houston
Boston
NYC
Generally, West Coast cities have large, well-funded, internet-savvy LE, so you won't find ANYTHING in these cities:
San Diego
Las Vegas
Los Angeles

I hope there are some good replies to Dragnbiz's Thread regarding SP's in Akron.Ohio as I an going there shortly for a couple of days to play Firestone Golf Club and after golf and dinner with the boyz there isn't much to do in the evenings.I must admit that I am not optimistic about the prospects of SP's in Akaron..

I go to Cleveleand once a year for 4-day stints for work (have done this three years in a row) and I would suggest you use the cash you would have in Akron for a few good nights in T.O. before or after your trip.
Ohio seems to have ultra-conservative state laws (which are enforced) against escorting and almost every agency or sp i have ever spoken to in cleveland uses this as a disclaimer either to not provide service or because they are truly fearful of getting busted...i think it's a bit of both. Add to this you are paying $250-$400 US a pop and I feel sorry for hobbyist in the Buckeye state!

Based on the comments I think I will stick to golf when I am in Akaron....Maybe I can win enough $$$ playing golf with the boyz to see an SP or two in Toronto when I get back...LOL...

I would never go to a SP in the U.S. We spend more on weaponry than any other nation on earth and our "Christians" applaud it, but god forbid people should buy an hour of sex or relax with a joint.wrath said:

But...
I've seen US SPs that were drop dead gorgeous, hotter than any SP in Canada I've seen...OTOH, I've also seen US SPs that were totally NOT as advertised, complete B&S, and grosser than any Canadian SP. Everything from mind-numbing PSE to cash n' dash, hobbying in the US seems to bounce between extremes, while the Canadian experience is more consistent in quality and moderation.

Not in Akron
Plan on heading to Cleveland, there's not much to choose from online from the Arkron area. Even Columbus is hard to find a good selection of reliable/attractive IMHO SPs. Cleveland tends to get a lot of ladies that tour from around the USA.
Cost is higher on average down here too. $300-400 USD for UP TO AN HOUR (for 1 SOG) is normal with many ladies here. Lots of B&S with local agencies to worry about.
Eros seems to be one of the most reliable sources, but has it's share of B&S too. Many of the ladies on there are difficult to find a review on. I've had the best luck with ladies that tour - but they are often more expensive too.

For some unknown reason, there are several agencies operating in the area. Since this is the "poor" South, these agencies are the only ones in the US that charge anything close to what you'd pay in Canada.

Baltimoron listed these cities as SP heavens, and I'm venturing some theories for these cities' heaven status.

Seattle: What was that company that's not a fruit and makes windows?
Houston: Oil companies, Bush cronies

My real pet peeve with my home country (USA)
Actually, it's not the defense spending that bugs me. That creates jobs, keeping a lot of us well paid and employed.
What bugs me is how the American people stupidly give up their freedoms to the government simply because "I'm fat, I'm happy, and it's not in my back yard."
Here's the typical routine in America:
1. Everybody's doing whatever (whatever = booze, drugs, guns, gambling, prostitution, silicone gel breast implants, super size fries, etc.) and everyone's happy.
2. A few people get killed or messed up by whatever and sue. Their sad stories are shown on the TV over and over again.
3. Everybody stupidly thinks "Gee, if I keep doing whatever, I'll get messed up like those idiots on TV." We gotta stop this!
4. In response to everybody, the government makes whatever illegal.
5. Now that whatever is illegal, the criminals, who don't care about the law in the first place, get rich and powerful selling whatever.
6. To stay rich and powerful, the criminals eliminate whoever is a threat to them selling whatever.
7. As the criminals get more powerful, the government becomes less effective in stopping them and asks for more power.
8. The people willfully vote for the govt to get more power which usually results in people having less freedoms...all to go after those dastardly criminals who are selling whatever.
What's the result of all this? While before when whatever was legal and only a few people suffered from it, now:
1. Many more people are dying and suffering from whatever and the cost of dealing in whatever.
2. The criminals get richer.
3. The government gets more powerful.
4. The people lose more freedoms.
Don't get me wrong. I'm a very patriotic American. I just believe in the America that the founding fathers had in mind.
Paraphrasing the great Ben Franklin:
"He who sacrifices freedom in the name of safety deserves neither."

dragnbiz, I live in the Akron area. All I can say is if you wanna play, stay in Canada. Hope you can hold out for a few days, the choices are very limited here and it is a terrible environment to partake in the "hobby". I never have, I never will play here, thats what Toronto and Windsor are for.
