Subway view is down to the wire

Several subway supporters on council flipped to support LRT, but several LRT supporters also flipped to subways. Very divided council and not entirely on left right lines.

Looks like subway may have it be couple but it is really down to the wire.

Edit, Result just in 24 to 20 for subway.

Council had to vote on whether to stay with the LRT, which was actually still its official plan, ore build a Sheppard subway.

The vote was very close. With multiple councillors switching sides in both directions from the last time it was voted, it came down to a difference of only three votes among the 44 councillors voting.

For Pete's sake let's be done with the noise and raise the taxes.
