Why do most of them have to show their vehicles driving through pristine wilderness.
Sure they have 4x4 or all wheel drive. As close to going off road as most will get is sliding into a ditch because they are driving too fast for the prevailing conditions.
"I have 4x4, duh."
Sure you can get going but the stopping surfaces have not been enhanced. Same amount of rubber contact on the road surface as before. Can yo say, "AGHHH!"?
All the manufacturers will express their corporate line that they care about and are concerned about the environment.
First thing you know they are promoting hugely polluting, 4x4 capable vehicles plunging through the wilderness, disturbing the natural environment (always pristine in the commercials) to the surprise and joy of the wild inhabitants. :biggrin1:
You know squirrels and raccoons have a close relationship with car wheels and bumpers.
Does this make sense.
I'd be more impressed with said vehicles if they could manage better mileage and avoid having to adjust their alignments from hitting too many f'n potholes.:thumb:
Stop encouraging idiots from spending north of $50K to go and destroy what little nature is still out there.:hand:
