My cell phone is one of those that doesn't flip closed, so the number pad is exposed. To prevent it from dialing numbers while in my pocket, I always have to lock the keys.

Yesterday I unlocked the number pad to make a call, and forgot to lock it it afterwards. I noticed the phone beeping as I moved around later that day, and promptly locked it again.

Well, last night I received a call from a female friend asking me what I meant by the text message I sent her. I was confused, and then looked at my "sent" box, and found a message that I had sent to an sp earlier: "I'm near the hotel, are you there?" This text message was not only sent to her, but to my landlord, and Beck Taxi. I was fortunate in that the message was not more explicit, but it's still embarrasing.
My stupid cell stores the last text message I send, so that's why the message was still there.

This friend, by the way, is someone I tried to get in bed with me by booking a hotel at a casino. She declined, and we haven't spoken since. Now, this text message about a hotel makes it seem like I'm a pervert.

That's why I always insist on a flip phone when buying a new model at Bell.

what did Beck Taxi say? :p

i agree with james kirk. texting:

a) costs money
b) distracts you from other things, like driving and being a pedestrian
c) gives you finger cramps
d) annoys other people at movie theaters (like me)

Tell her it was sent to her by mistake, wrong girl. Thank her for letting you know the mistake, and then delete her number from your phone. Dont worry about it.

So what is the purpose of this post? Is it:

* To tell us that your cell phone is a piece of shit?
* That you are insecure that someone you haven't talked to in a while will think you are a pervert?
* For the most simplistic problems in your life you need the anonymous posters of Terb to give you advice?
