I've been checking CRA website daily to see if StudioTax for 2017 taxation year for MAC, has been CRA certified. It has a listing for MAC-desktop, does this "desktop" mean MAC-laptop also? (I have a MACbook air), anyone know? thanks

yes, the StudioTax for 2017 which also runs on MAC OS High Sierra is compatible with your MACbook Air
